Milano Design Week 2026 will be the occasion to discover something unprecedented in Italian design: Carminati and Meroni & Colzani are opening a shared Concept Store at Via Paolo da Cannobio 9, steps from the Duomo in Milan. A meeting of two distinct worlds — and for that reason, perfectly complementary.
Two souls, one single project.
Carminati, founded in 1894 in Val Brembana, has built over a century of history into an international reputation in high-quality wood window and door systems. With Carminati Interiors, that same artisan culture extends to interior spaces: kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, boiserie. A complete project, from the envelope to the furnishing.
Meroni & Colzani is a Brianza brand with over fifty years of history, born from the fusion of two artisan families specialised in cabinetry and upholstery. Furniture and sofas made to measure in precious woods, marbles, leathers and fabrics — crafted one hundred percent by Italian artisans. One brand that lets the light in and dresses the rooms. The other decides how to inhabit them.
They are not alike. And that is precisely why they complement each other. Both convinced that beauty is never accidental but always the result of care, expertise and time. The same culture of making — artisan, Italian, uncompromising — finds its fullest expression in this shared project.
The Concept Store at Milan Design Week 2026
The new space at Via Paolo da Cannobio 9 opens on 23 April 2026, throughout the entire week of Milano Design Week 2026. A place where the two souls of Carminati — the window and door systems of the Skyline Minimal Frames collection and the interior design of Carminati Interiors — come together for the first time under the same roof, in dialogue with the world of Meroni & Colzani.
Inside the Concept Store, visitors can admire in person the motorised sliding Skyline Minimal Frames systems: wood profiles of extraordinary refinement, made-to-measure finishes that transform every window into an architectural piece. Alongside, the proposals of Carminati Interiors for kitchens, living areas and bedrooms, and an exclusive selection of Meroni & Colzani furniture for living and night spaces — sofas, tables and complements that celebrate Italian craftsmanship in its most refined form.
The Material Library for Professionals
Completing the space, a professional materials library: a physical archive of woods, glasses, metals and fabrics designed for architects and interior designers who want to build coherent projects from the outside in. During Milano Design Week 2026, the Carminati and Meroni & Colzani teams will be present to welcome professionals and enthusiasts, offering integrated consultancy on every aspect of the project — from the window system to the furnishing.
