Bathed in the intense light of the Middle East, Villa Origami rests quietly amid the warm hues of the Israeli landscape, where stone, wind, and sun tell a story as old as the land itself.
Designed by architect Tal Goldsmith Fish, this private residence embodies a perfect balance between contemporary architecture and local materials, with large expanses of minimalist glazing in constant dialogue with the surrounding landscape.
In this setting, light takes centre stage: it streams in with clarity, washes across surfaces, and turns each space into a natural extension of the landscape. This effect is further reinforced by minimal timber window systems, designed to reduce the visual presence of the enclosure and maximize continuity between interior and exterior spaces.

Skyline Minimal Frames and Villa Origami
The Skyline Minimal Frames systems blend seamlessly with the villa’s architectural language, crafted in oak with a natural finish and equipped with muntins and concealed hinges. Available in window and door configurations, the systems contribute to a clean, minimalist aesthetic, where every detail is conceived to enhance the interplay of light, materials, and space. The lift-and-slide doors with wide threshold tracks create a seamless visual connection between interior and exterior spaces, turning the transition into an almost imperceptible boundary. Fixed glazing further enhances the perception of space and natural light, becoming an integral element of the architectural composition. In this fully bespoke villa, attention to detail defines every aspect of the project. From the furniture to the Japanese-inspired interior partitions, every element contributes to a cohesive and refined design language. This same level of craftsmanship extends to the window and door systems, where the muntins echo the design of the interior partitions, reinforcing the dialogue between architecture and interior design. |

At the heart of the project, the Skyline Minimal Frames system embodies the company’s patented expertise, redefining wooden window systems by maximizing the flow of natural light and enhancing the visual impact of the frames through slim, minimalist profiles without compromising technical performance.
The patented system combines aesthetics and efficiency, providing high resistance to intrusion while minimizing heat loss. Sealing elements positioned between the opening sash and the fixed frame enclose the thermal insulation chambers. Partially compressed, these elements prevent the infiltration of drafts, dust, and weather elements, improving the overall insulation performance.
Completing the system, attention to detail is also reflected in the Carminati-designed handle. Custom-developed to blend seamlessly with the essential aesthetic of the Skyline line, it is more than a simple accessory: it is a technical element that combines ergonomic design with advanced functionality, ensuring effortless operation and a flawless aesthetic with every opening.
