Innovation and research: the key to our patents

Floor-embedded guide for lift and slide systems

The innovative Skyline sliding system, consisting of a floor-recessed guide, guarantees effective insulation and at the same time protects its mechanisms from any kind of interference.

The guide consists of a single fiberglass block, elaborately designed to accommodate the gliding mechanism on wheels and the guide rail on the inside. This solution ensures a solid and high-performance construction that optimizes the durability and functionality of the system. To guarantee a higher level of waterproofing, drainage holes have been designed and put in place that are directly connected to the wastewater system, ensuring effective drainage even during adverse weather conditions.

The system features a track belt that covers the mechanism designed to move the sliding sash, preventing dust or dirt from entering the casing. This flexible belt is made up of articulated elements and allows for maximum ease of movement of even large doors and windows, with the least visual impact possible.

The lift and slide system with embedded guide allows for a continuity in the indoor-outdoor transition that is unmatched by other types of guides or thresholds, offering a discreet and structurally functional profile. Made with resistant and high-performance materials, the embedded guide ensures smooth and silent gliding, optimizing comfort and ease of use.

Minimalist frames and structural glass for sashes

The patent for Skyline Minimal Frames embodies the essence and identity of the collection. Our research is the result of an in-depth analysis and aims to achieve optimal use of natural light. The goal is to maximize the amount of natural light entering the space and to optimize the visual impact of the window with its sleek and minimalist profiles, without compromising on technical performance.

The patented system combines aesthetics with efficiency, guaranteeing maximum protection against intruders as well as reduced heat loss.  Sealing elements containing thermal insulation chambers are fitted between the moving sash and the fixed frame. These components, which are under slight compression, prevent infiltration from the elements, form air currents and dust, and improve the insulation performance.

The frame of the moving window sash is strongly bonded to the structural glass pane, which acts as a reinforcing element for the entire structure. This innovative system allows the glass to become an integral part of the window’s stability and ensures greater strength.

The window built with this technology has a basic structure but has been specially designed to reduce thickness and boost illumination for the same exposed surface area. This allows for brighter and more comfortable environments, accentuating a sense of continuity between the interior and exterior.

The Skyline Minimal Frames patent represents a cutting-edge solution that combines design, functionality, and living comfort, adding value to any space with maximum illumination and outstanding performance.

Interior door handles

From the handle to the window frame, in the design process, every element counts. Just like the famous slogan coined by architect Ernesto Nathan Rogers—who stated that the design of a spoon and that of an entire city follow the same principles—the care and attention to detail in the design of a fixture are equally important for both the entire frame and the individual handle.

Crafting a custom handle is an integral part of the creative process, where every shape, material, and proportion contributes to the harmony and functionality of the overall product. True design emerges from the balance between the detail and the whole. We have registered our bespoke handle at the EUIPO, specifically designed for our wooden interior doors. This exclusive element is conceived to integrate perfectly with the ultra-thin wooden frame, enhancing the minimal aesthetic and seamless continuity of surfaces.Â
