AIA Conference 2025 – Impression

AIA Conference 2025: reflections on our first trade show experience in the United States

From June 4th to 7th, the city of Boston played host to one of the most significant events in the United States dedicated to the worlds of architecture and design: the AIA Conference 2025.

For the very first time, we participated in this prestigious trade show, bringing to the US our most iconic products from the Skyline Minimal Frames collection—our signature line of windows and doors featuring minimalist design and ultraslim wooden profiles.

This year’s conference saw record attendance, drawing over 100,000 professionals and more than 600 exhibitors from every corner of the globe, reaffirming its status as one of the most important hubs for industry development in the USA.

Carminati at AIA Conference 2025: the allure of Italian windows captivates Boston

At our booth, we had the pleasure of meeting numerous architects and industry professionals, all of whom gave us overwhelmingly positive feedback on our products.

Visitors were particularly impressed by the exceptional quality of our materials, the innovative technology behind our opening systems, and the refined design that defines every product in the Skyline Minimal Frames range. Among our offerings, the Bifold model attracted the most interest, thanks to its elegant folding opening mechanism—perfect for creating airy interiors and maximizing usable space.

Over the course of the event, we also had the opportunity to engage with many professionals and architectural firms, sharing our design philosophy that seamlessly blends aesthetics and technology and highlighting the unique value of each individual product.

Emerging Trends in Architecture and Design

Participating in the AIA Conference 2025 also gave us the chance to stay up-to-date on the future trends set to shape the fields of design and architecture in the coming years.

As in previous editions, several ongoing trends were confirmed and are expected to gain even more momentum in the future. Chief among these is the need to develop more environmentally friendly products, utilizing sustainable and eco-friendly materials that respect the environment and minimize resource consumption. The integration of smart technologies and the use of automation to streamline workflows were also prominent topics throughout the conference, underscoring the fact that our industry is undergoing profound transformations and that digital innovation will play an increasingly pivotal role moving forward.
