Villa Cambridge

A house full of light

Villa Cambridge stands majestically among the tree-lined hills of the historic American town.

Designed by Maryann Thompson Architects, the house stands out for its overlapping and asymmetrical volumes: the rows of continuous windows, the play of solid and empty spaces, and the horizontal geometries give the house a dynamic appearance. This sense of dynamism is further accentuated by the external cladding in dark-toned accoya wood, which has been created in different sizes to give rhythm to the structure and add depth.

Skyline Minimal Frames and Villa Cambridge

In this project, the Skyline Minimal Frames windows play an essential role in creating visual lightness and continuity with the exteriors.

The large rows of full-height fixed and sliding windows, made of laminated fir wood, envelop the house like a glass shell, dematerializing every obstacle and making nature an integral part of the home. The very thin frame profiles of just 37 mm thick give greater prominence to the large glass surfaces, which ensure the maximum supply of natural light.

The external aluminum cladding increases the performance of the windows, guaranteeing exceptional weather resistance, high energy efficiency and thermal performance. Furthermore, this solution guarantees the windows a longer service life, reducing maintenance interventions to a minimum.

The Skyline Entrance Door was tailor-made according to the architectural firm’s drawings. A refined and modern element that makes the entrance more welcoming.

Finally, the Skyline and Prestigio line handles in satin chrome finish give an elegant touch to windows and doors. The simple and tapered lines make them suitable for any environment and style.
